PDP Courses

The MTA offers free professional development for members to earn up to 15 PDPs toward license renewal. These member-designed workshops cover different areas, including special education and English learners.

The MTA offers PDP courses both online and in person! Members can choose from a variety of courses across the state and earn 15 PDPs in either English as a Second Language/Sheltered English Immersion or Special Education, which count toward professional license renewal. All courses are free for MTA members.

Courses are available in the following areas:

  • Curriculum & Instruction
  • English Language Arts/Literacy
  • English Language Learners
  • English Language Learners or Special Education
  • Leadership/Administration
  • Safe & Supportive Schools
  • Science and Technology/Engineering
  • Special Education

Space is limited to ensure a high-quality, engaging learning experience for all participants.
