The NEA RA is the highest decision-making body within the NEA, where delegates debate issues and set policy for the year ahead.

The National Education Association Representative Assembly – known as the RA – is the highest decision-making body within the NEA. With more than 8,000 delegates, the RA is also the world’s largest democratic deliberative body.
 

Over the course of the RA, delegates debate the vital issues that impact American public education and set policy and activities for the year ahead.
