Annual Meeting Of Delegates

The Annual Meeting brings together educators from across the Commonwealth to set priorities, debate key issues and vote on the policies that guide our union’s work. Through discussion, collaboration and collective decision-making, members help shape the future of public education and the direction of the MTA.
Each May, the MTA convenes an Annual Meeting at which delegates from across the state gather to set policy, vote on Bylaws, Standing Rules and Resolutions, elect members to the Board, vote on the budget and approve new business items. Most delegates represent their locals and are elected locally. In addition, there are statewide retiree and regional ethnic minority delegates.

The Annual Meeting of Delegates is scheduled on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. This page will be updated with resources and information for Annual Meeting Delegates. If a link is not yet available, it will be posted soon.
