Correction

A correction to a recent article.

An article on Native American tribal land acknowledgments published in the winter edition of MTA Today incorrectly described the sequence of events that led to Tisquantum’s return to New England. He first was captured in 1605 and taken to Europe, then taken to Maine. He eventually escaped and returned to his homelands in 1619, 14 years after his initial capture.
